Oggie the Ogre

Ogswald Theodore Henry Eddington Ogre, more commonly simply referred to as Oggie the Ogre or Oggie, is the fictional mascot of the Organization of Gamers & Roleplaying Enthusiasts. As his name implies, Oggie is an Ogre and was created by Sin City Ogres founder Mike Sanchez. He was born on May 24th, 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Oggie is also the namesake for the Ogswald Academy, Camp Oggie, the House of Ogswald, the annual Oggie Awards, and even Oggie's Rules of Order - the parliamentary method that the board of directors uses for meetings.

Name Origin

The name Oggie was inspired by the European chant of "Oggie Oggie Oggie" as well as the similar word Ogre, of which Oggie is.
